Important Dates:
April 4, 2026: Registration Opens. Early Registration Discounts Available
April 16, 2026: Early-Bird Registration Discounts End

Individual Evaluations – All Divisions
Individual Registrants (those not part of a pre-formed team) need to
attend only ONE session

Season/Playoff Dates: June 15th through July 31st
   
Game Start Times: Weeknights, 5:30 – 9:00pm
Game Length: 1 hour
Game Sites: Reston, Herndon, and surrounding areas
Team Practices: Potentially once per week, Day(s) and times will be managed by the Coach.
Due to indoor gym space limitations, most practices will be held at an outdoor court.
 
Evaluations: All individual registrants must attend ONE Evaluation –
those that will be drafted into a team for summer play and not part of a pre-set registering full team roster.

Fees: Fees charged include a League jersey, all processing, and mandatory County fees
* Individual registration: $ 195.00
*** Register by April 16th for a $10.00 discount ***
* Individual OUT OF COUNTY registration fee: $50.00
All players register and pay individually.
Please note any teammate or coach/pre-formed team requests on your registration.
 
Divisions: NOTE: RISING GRADE is the athlete’s grade for the 2026-27 school year (as of Sept 2026)
1st/2nd Grade – Future Stars: Mixed boys and girls for beginners, ages 5-9. Kids in this division learn the fundamentals — with an emphasis on FUN!!
If you think your child is ready for the next level, bring him or her to the 3rd/4th Grade evaluation.
3rd/4th Grade: Select and House divisions, Rising 3rd/4th Grade Mixed boys AND girls in competitive league play.
5th/6th Grade Boys: Select and House divisions, Rising 5th/6th Grade Boys only division in competitive league play.
5th/6th Grade Girls: Select and House divisions, Rising 5th/6th Grade Girls only division in competitive league play.
7th/8th Grade Boys: Select and House divisions, Rising 7th/8th Grade Boys only division in competitive league play.
7/8/9th Grade Girls: Select and House divisions, Rising 7th/8th/9th Grade Girls only division in competitive league play.
10/11/12th Grd Girls: Select and House divisions, Rising 10th/11th/12th Grade Girls only division in competitive league play.
3v3 League, only 4 players needed for a 3v3 team.
JV Division: Select and House divisions, Rising 9th/10th Grade Boys only division in competitive league play.
Varsity Division: Select and House divisions, Rising 11th/12th Grade Boys only division in competitive league play.

 

PLAYER, FAMILY and FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
  • Reston Hoops and Reston Volleyball strive to advance sportsmanship in youth sports.
  • I pledge to behave responsibly and to always set a positive example for players, parents, friends and attendees during all league activities.
  • Any comments and/or cheering will be positive and constructive towards all participants, coaches, referees etc.
  • I recognize that coaches, scorekeepers, and timekeepers are volunteer positions and strive to perform to the best of their abilities.
  • I will treat all persons with respect before, during and after all activities — win or lose.
  • I will refrain from addressing game officials or commenting negatively on their decisions before, during or after game(s).
  • I acknowledge that a coach(s), referee(s), member of the programs Board of Directors is authorized to warn or direct me to leave the facility due to violation of this code and that the league office may decide to ban my presence from any and all activities for actions contrary to this Code at their sole discretion.
  • This Code of Conduct is implicit and enforceable as outlined herein.
